Well, it's the official cost for this decade long 1st major refresh of the mouse. Now potential customers interested in a modern peripheral that takes advantage of advanced haptic tactile feedback have a price point to consider if it's worth it for them financially.

The Surface Mouse (2nd Gen) features Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity so that you can pair it with up to 3 computers at one time. This makes it great for professionals who often need to work on a desktop machine and a laptop during the day for example. It's also got a skin-friendly silicone top and quieter click design with low noise click mechanism.
