Acer Swift Blade 14 Weighs 1.76 Pounds, Ships with Intel Wildcat Lake

Acer introduces Swift Blade sub-brand with 1.76 lb Wildcat Lake laptop

The Swift Blade 14 serves as the debut device for this new sub-brand. It features an aluminum-magnesium and carbon fiber chassis that keeps the total weight at just 1.76 pounds (799 grams). The system is powered by Intel's new Wildcat Lake processors, ranging from the Core 3 304 to the Core 7 350.

Memory and display options define the core configuration of the device. The laptop includes 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM to support the processor performance. A 14-inch OLED panel is available with a 2880 x 1800 resolution, 400 nits brightness, and a 90 Hz refresh rate.

Connectivity and power are handled through a compact set of ports and a modest battery. The chassis includes three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports, with one dedicated solely to data transfer, plus a headphone jack. It relies on a 50 WHr battery for power delivery.

Launch timing varies significantly by region, with a notable gap between markets. North American customers can expect the Swift Blade 14 to arrive in the first quarter of 2027. European, Middle Eastern, and African markets will see the device ship in December.
