Team Group Elite and Elite Plus DDR5 Memory Hits 8000 MT/s at 1.1V

Team Group has announced the launch of its new Elite and Elite Plus DDR5 memory kits. These modules represent a significant shift in high-speed memory design by achieving 8000 MT/s data rates. The company introduced these products in May 2026 with a scheduled retail release in June 2026.

The initial kits feature a 2x 16 GB configuration. They operate with loose timings of CL56-56-56-128. A key technical achievement is the ability to run at the standard JEDEC voltage of 1.1V. This low voltage requirement distinguishes them from many enthusiast-grade modules that typically demand 1.35V to 1.4V for similar speeds.

The new Elite and Elite Plus kits achieve high speeds at standard voltage.

Team Group claims the Elite and Elite Plus lines offer superior signal integrity compared to conventional high-frequency DDR5. The company attributes this performance to strong binning quality of the memory chips. These design choices allow the kits to maintain stability at high speeds without the excessive power draw associated with traditional overclocked memory.

The Elite and Elite Plus DDR5 kits will become available in North America starting in June 2026. Team Group has not yet disclosed specific pricing for these memory modules. The manufacturer also has not provided details on future capacity options beyond the initial 32 GB kits.

Team Group has not confirmed the launch window for higher capacity variants. The company stated that it has not disclosed any information regarding memory capacity options planned for later release. This leaves the long-term product roadmap for the Elite series undefined at this time.
