SanDisk has launched the Optimus SSD series in China. The lineup includes four models: GX PRO 8100, GX PRO 850X, GX 7100, and 5100.

Four models cover PCIe 5.0 and PCIe 4.0

All drives use the M.2 2280 form factor and come with a 5-year warranty. The GX PRO 8100 supports PCIe 5.0 and reaches sequential read speeds up to 14,900 MB/s. The GX PRO 850X uses PCIe 4.0 with reads up to 7,300 MB/s. The GX 7100 and 5100 also use PCIe 4.0, with reads up to 7,250 MB/s and 7,100 MB/s, respectively.

Pricing in China starts at 999 CNY (about $147) for the 5100 500GB model and goes up to 12,999 CNY (about $1,907) for the GX PRO 8100 8TB model. The GX PRO 8100 is available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB at 2,499 CNY (about $367), 4,999 CNY (about $733), and 5,799 CNY (about $851). The GX PRO 850X comes in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB for 2,399 CNY (about $352), 4,799 CNY (about $704), and 5,399 CNY (about $792). The GX 7100 offers 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB at 1,129 CNY (about $166), 2,099 CNY (about $308), 4,299 CNY (about $631), and 5,199 CNY (about $763). The 5100 is available in 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB for 999 CNY (about $147), 1,799 CNY (about $264), 3,399 CNY (about $499), and 4,699 CNY (about $689).
