Mozilla Brings Shake to Summarize to Firefox on Android After iOS Launch

Mozilla has introduced a Shake to Summarize feature for Firefox on Android. The feature was previously available on iOS since September 2024.

AI summaries powered by Mistral-Small on Android

On Android, the AI summaries are powered by the Mistral-Small model. The iOS version uses Apple Intelligence for on-device processing. The Android version currently supports English only, with more languages planned.
