KLEVV Launches First AMD EXPO ULL Memory With 8000 MT/s Speed

KLEVV launches the CRAS V RGB PRIME DDR5, the first memory with AMD EXPO ULL support, reaching 8000 MT/s and up to 128 GB capacity.

KLEVV Launches First AMD EXPO ULL Memory With 8000 MT/s Speed

KLEVV recently launched the CRAS V RGB PRIME DDR5, a significant development in PC builds that prefer 's recent memory standards. With the release of this product, we're seeing the first consumer RAM kit that actually supports AMD EXPO ULL. As you can probably tell, this is important since it allows for more stable, better performing memory in recent platforms. With a compatible motherboard, you can now make use of the new optimization profile out of the box without needing to download any extra software.

First consumer RAM kit with AMD EXPO ULL support hits 8000 MT/s

This new memory module is designed to work across both AMD and platforms, providing users with AMD EXPO ULL and Intel XMP profiles. It has a 10-layer PCB for fast signal processing, as well as a built-in Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) for smooth voltage distribution. The module even has on-die ECC to help with data error corrections at the chip level for greater reliability during heavy use.

The performance specs for this RAM kit top out at 8000 MT/s with a CAS latency of CL38. However, at a slightly more tame speed of 6000 MT/s, it drops down to a CL26. KLEVV says this will give you an average 4% performance boost in games over regular AMD EXPO kits. For peace of mind, all of these kits are rated at 1.4V so they'll run smoothly across the board.

For the CRAS V RGB PRIME, you'll have a choice of four capacities. The kits include 32 GB, 48 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB models. All of these are dual-channel kits, so you're looking at 2x 16 GB, 2x 24 GB, 2x 32 GB, and 2x 64 GB.

KLEVV confirmed that global shipments will start in November 2026. Pricing details are not available just yet.

  1. The 1.4V rating is concerning for long term silicon health. Most JEDEC specs prefer lower voltages for endurance. I am surprised they did not mention any voltage scaling features for the ULL profile.

  2. KLEVV claims a 4 percent gaming boost. Where are the independent benchmarks proving this over standard EXPO kits at 6000 MT/s? I need synthetic and real world data before believing any marketing numbers.

    1. There are no third party benchmarks available yet. The 4 percent figure comes directly from KLEVV internal testing as stated in the article. You will have to wait for independent reviewers to validate the claim.

  3. I need to know the pricing before I consider this. The article says pricing is undisclosed but the availability is set for late 2026. That timeline seems odd for a new product launch.

  4. 128 GB kits are actually useful for my workstation now. Finally some high capacity options that support the new AMD standards properly.

  5. EXPO ULL is an AMD specific optimization. Linux users might not see the same benefits unless the kernel and wine layers fully support the timing profiles. It is not a universal win yet.
