Anker has launched a refreshed magnetic power bank in China, introducing the Anker Air 5000mAh model. The device is a slim accessory designed for iPhone users who rely on MagSafe charging. It features a 5,000mAh battery capacity housed in a compact form factor. The unit measures 0.86cm in thickness, making it one of the thinner options in its category.
Supports 15W wireless output and 20W wired fast charging via USB-C
The power bank supports 15W wireless charging output and 20W wired fast charging through its USB-C port. A 12.8N magnet configuration ensures the device stays securely attached to compatible phones. Anker claims the magnetic charging works effectively even through phone cases. The device lacks a built-in display and instead uses indicator lights to show status.

Anker states that the 15W wireless charging capability can charge an iPhone 17 Pro from 0% to 33% in just 30 minutes. This performance claim highlights the efficiency of the wireless charging standard. The company has also verified that the magnetic connection remains stable when a case is used on the device.
The Anker Air 5000mAh is available in China with a launch price of 329 CNY (about $48.32). It is scheduled for release in 2026. The specifications are identical to the Anker Air 2 released in May 2025, with the main difference being new Chinese standard certification. A similar model, the Nano Power Bank 5K, is already available on Amazon.

It remains unclear whether Anker will bring this specific 5,000mAh version to the global market. The company has not confirmed a worldwide launch date or availability for this model. The current release is limited to the Chinese market, leaving international customers without a confirmed path to purchase this exact variant.
