AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT enters the Steam Hardware Survey with a 1.35 percent user share. The card ranks as the twenty-fifth most popular GPU tracked by Valve. This data point places the RDNA 4 model just behind the Nvidia RTX 5080.

RDNA 4 graphics card debuts in Valve telemetry reports alongside other new models

The survey tracks discrete graphics cards and integrated GPUs across the PC gaming ecosystem. AMD introduced the RX 9070 XT alongside other RDNA 4 variants including the RX 9060 XT, RX 9070, and RX 9070 GRE. The hardware appears in Valve's monthly telemetry reports without official vendor pricing or availability dates.

The RX 9070 XT holds a 1.35 percent market share among Steam users. Nvidia leads the RDNA 4 family with an RTX 5080 share of 1.52 percent. The AMD RX 9060 XT debuts at position thirty-nine with a 0.72 percent share.

The non-XT Radeon RX 9070 model sits much lower in the rankings. It holds only a 0.18 percent share and ranks at position ninety. This figure shows minimal growth compared to January 2026 levels. Nvidia maintains dominance with the GeForce RTX 3060 leading all tracked GPUs at 4.02 percent.

Some observers note that Steam Client miscategorizes discrete models in certain reports. The issue may stem from how the platform handles iGPU plus GPU combinations. Valve has not confirmed these classification quirks, and AMD offers no comment on the data methodology.
