Dell's Alienware brand has introduced a more affordable version of its premium 5K monitor. The new AW3426DW targets gamers who want high refresh rates and OLED quality without the top-tier price tag.
QD-OLED panel delivers vivid colors
The AW3426DW is a 34-inch curved gaming monitor built around a QD-OLED panel. It sits below the AW3926QW 5K model in Alienware's lineup, offering a lower resolution but a faster refresh rate.
Specifications
- Panel Size: 34-inch
- Panel Type: QD-OLED
- Resolution: 3440 x 1440
- Refresh Rate: 280 Hz
- Peak Brightness: 1300 nits

The monitor delivers a 3440×1440 resolution at 280 Hz, with a peak brightness of 1300 nits. It covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and has a 0.03 ms gray-to-gray response time.
Connectivity includes dual HDMI 2.1
Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.3, USB-A, USB-B, and a USB-C port with 15W charging. The monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Nvidia G-Sync, VESA AdaptiveSync, DisplayHDR True Black 500, and Dolby Vision. It lacks a KVM switch.
Alienware backs the AW3426DW with a three-year warranty that explicitly covers OLED burn-in. The monitor is set to launch globally in July 2026; pricing has not been announced.
The AW3426DW replaces last year's AW3425DW, bringing higher brightness and a faster refresh rate. It offers a practical alternative for gamers who don't need 5K resolution.
