For PC players of The Witcher 3 Remastered, you can now control the visual fidelity of the game without pausing it. A new mod called Dynamic Region Graphics enables dynamic adjustment of graphic settings in real time depending on where you are and what you are doing. No more needing to manually switch settings when you go between regions or when you get into a fight.

The mod comes from BloodySupport and can be downloaded over at Nexus Mods. It's meant for The Witcher 3 Remastered and works seamlessly with the native REDengine of the game. They opt to use native annotations instead of script merging, which is better for stability.

The mod, Dynamic Region Graphics, automatically switches Ray Tracing profiles, Path Tracing profiles and upscaler profiles when you go between regions or enter an interior room. There are specific profiles for different locations such as Velen, Skellige, Toussaint and Novigrad. It also automatically changes upscaler settings for DLSS, FSR 2 and XeSS to ensure performance when there are high Path Tracing loads.

There's an in-game menu where you can set up your dynamic profiles. The mod makes sure that you always have the right level of visual quality for what you're doing whether that's fighting or exploring. It takes all the hassle out of controlling visual fidelity vs. frame rates, all while you're playing the game.
