The Blood of Dawnwalker 1.1 Update lands as Rebel Wolves tackle the primary combat pain points many players experienced with the initial release. In this patch we get major updates to targeting / lock-on systems with a focus on improving the feel of vampire hunting action. These changes should greatly benefit new players struggling with the camera controls in previous versions.

Patch 1.1 overhauls combat targeting and introduces a new easier difficulty level

Rebel Wolves have taken measures with this update to improve accessibility of the million seller title. Introducing a new easier difficulty setting. Lowering animal health stats and adding extra combat assists. This will allow players a kinder route through the story, while not compromising the overall identity of the game.

The core of this update focuses heavily on technical improvements. Enhancing the implementation of Frame Generation, introducing new settings that can be tweaked to provide greater control over performance. Developers have also improved the traversal movement in vampire form.

Improving the responsiveness of the Shadowstep and Planeshift moves. For controller players, there's the inclusion of deadzone settings now, allowing for more precise tuning of controller input.

We get a new respec mechanic introduced as Draught of Mind Rebirth. This allows players to reset skill trees for Coen. Offering the ability to freely experiment with different builds without starting fresh. Rebel Wolves have also corrected dialogue / item selection issues that were causing headaches for controller players.

After checking out the last update for The Blood of Dawnwalker, we saw heavy themes of balance and stability. This latest patch delivers on those promises as they directly tackle the mechanical concerns players have raised. Still a solid offering for fans of action rpg's looking for a polished vampire experience.
