Sony has announced two new wearable cooling and heating devices: the REON POCKET 6 and the REON POCKET PRO Plus. The devices are designed to help users regulate body temperature in hot or cold conditions.
Improved cooling and smaller tag
The REON POCKET PRO Plus features a new high-efficiency heat dissipation design that improves cooling performance by up to 20% compared to its predecessor. The REON POCKET 6 includes dual temperature control modules and a new cooling algorithm, achieving a cooling efficiency of up to -2°C. Both models come with the REON POCKET TAG 2, which is 18% smaller than the previous version.

In Taiwan, the REON POCKET 6 set is priced at 5900 TWD (about $187), and the REON POCKET PRO Plus set is priced at 6900 TWD (about $218). A dedicated protective case is also available for 700 TWD (about $22.14). Both models go on sale on May 20.

The REON POCKET series targets users who need personal climate control in various environments, such as outdoor activities or office work. The new models offer improved performance and a smaller tag accessory compared to earlier versions.
