Sony has announced a major State of Play broadcast scheduled for June 2026. The company released a teaser on May 20 and will host the full event on June 2, 2026. The presentation is expected to run for over an hour and will feature announcements from both first-party and third-party studios.

The broadcast will open with an extended look at Marvel's Wolverine by Insomniac Games. Sony stated that the studio plans to share more details about Logan's brutal combat and other new information. Naughty Dog's Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet and Horizon Hunters Gathering may also receive coverage during the hour-long showcase.
Sony will stream the event globally starting at 2:00pm PT on June 2, 2026. Viewers in the United States can attend a free watch party at Alamo Drafthouse venues to view the broadcast together. Microsoft is scheduled to hold its Xbox Games Showcase shortly after on June 7, 2026.
Sony has not confirmed the full lineup of games or updates that will appear during the State of Play event. The current teaser only highlights Marvel's Wolverine and does not reveal other titles or announcements that may follow.
