SilverStone has introduced the CS240, a Mini-ITX NAS case that prioritizes high-speed storage. The case packs four hot-swap U.2 bays, making it a compact solution for users who need fast drive access.

The CS240 supports Mini-ITX, Deep Mini-ITX, and Mini-DTX motherboards. It can accommodate graphics cards up to 300mm long, CPU coolers up to 182mm tall, and SFX or SFX-L power supplies.

The four U.2 bays use a backplane with SlimSAS 8i (SFF-8654) for PCIe 4.0 connectivity. The backplane supports tri-mode NVMe, SAS, and SATA drives. Two 120mm fans sit on the side of the hot-swap bays to keep drives cool.

Additional internal storage includes one 3.5-inch or two 2.5-inch drives. The front I/O offers a USB Type-C port, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, and a combo audio jack. The case measures 211mm wide, 360mm deep, and 285mm high.

SilverStone has not yet announced pricing or availability for the CS240. The case targets users building a compact NAS with high-performance storage.
