Samsung Exynos 2800 Chip for Laptops Leaked: 1.4nm, 10-Core CPU, Xclipse 980 GPU

Samsung is reportedly testing a new processor for Chromebook laptops. The chip is called the Exynos 2800 and is built on a 1.4nm process, according to a leak from a source on X.

The Exynos 2800 features a 10-core CPU in a 2+4+4 configuration. Two prime cores run at 4.50GHz, four performance cores at 3.80GHz, and four efficiency cores at 2.00GHz. The GPU is an Xclipse 980 with ray tracing support. The chip also integrates 96MB of System Level Cache (SLC).

The leaker claims the Exynos 2800 aims to compete with Apple's M7 series chips. Samsung has not confirmed any details about the processor or its intended use in Chromebooks.
