MINISFORUM PCIE TO 4 Expansion Card Adds 4 M.2 Slots and USB-C

MINISFORUM showed a new PCIe expansion card at COMPUTEX 2026 that turns a single slot into four M.2 drives and extra I/O. For users who need more storage without swapping motherboards, this card offers a practical upgrade path.

Based on AMD B650 chipset

The PCIE TO 4 Expansion Card uses an AMD B650 chipset, also known as Promontory 21. It connects via four upstream PCIe lanes and provides four M.2 slots that support both SATA and PCIe drives. A USB-C port and an OCuLink port handle additional connectivity.

The second I/O port is OCuLink, a standard often used for external GPU enclosures or high-speed storage. The USB-C port adds convenience for modern peripherals. No pricing has been announced yet.

MINISFORUM plans to release the card in the third quarter of 2026. The company has not disclosed a specific launch date or price. The card was shown as a working prototype at the show.

The PCIE TO 4 card is a straightforward solution for adding multiple NVMe drives to a desktop without a new motherboard. It is confirmed to support both SATA and PCIe M.2 drives in flexible lane configurations.
