MINISFORUM 139D7 and 895D7 Launch as 8.47L MoDT PCs with Discrete GPU Support

MINISFORUM introduced two new prebuilt desktops designed to bridge the gap between compact form factors and desktop-grade performance. These systems offer a rare combination of high-end mobile processors and full discrete GPU support in a chassis under 9 liters. Buyers who need serious compute power but lack the desk space for a traditional tower will find this MoDT approach practical.

The lineup splits into two configurations based on the processor architecture. The 139D7 model uses an Intel Core i9-13900HX chip, while the 895D7 variant relies on an AMD Ryzen 9 8945HX. Both units share the same 8.47-liter chassis, which measures 312 by 292 by 93 millimeters and weighs 3.79 kilograms without external accessories.

Spec comparison

Each system includes a 400W internal power supply capable of delivering up to 100W to the CPU and 145W to the graphics card. MINISFORUM provides a full-length PCIe Gen5 x16 slot that accommodates dual-slot half-height add-in cards. Memory expansion comes via two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots, and storage capacity expands through two M.2 2280 drives using PCIe Gen4 x4 lanes.

Connectivity features include 2.5GbE LAN and Wi-Fi 7 support for modern network standards. The company launched these models on August 18, 2024, targeting users who require desktop-class graphics without the bulk of a standard case. This release expands MINISFORUM's options for high-performance compact computing.
