Microsoft has announced new Surface Laptop for Business and Surface Pro for Business models. The devices are powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors.
New processors boost performance significantly
The Surface Laptop for Business 13-inch features a Core Ultra 5 325 processor, up to 24GB of LPDDR5x memory, and up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Its 13-inch PixelSense display runs at 1920×1280 with 10-point touch. The 13.8-inch and 15-inch models offer up to a Core Ultra X7 368H processor, up to 64GB of LPDDR5X memory, and 120Hz PixelSense Flow displays with resolutions up to 3270×2180. The Surface Pro for Business 13-inch includes up to a Core Ultra 7 366H processor, up to 64GB of memory, and a choice of OLED or LCD PixelSense Flow display at 2880×1920. Battery life ranges from 17 hours on the Pro to over 22 hours on the Laptop models.
The Surface Laptop for Business 13-inch starts at 1499 USD (about $1,499). The 13.8-inch and 15-inch models start at 1949.99 USD (about $1,950). The Surface Pro for Business 13-inch also starts at 1949.99 USD (about $1,950). All three models are available today in some markets. A global launch with 8GB memory models is expected in late 2026.
Microsoft claims the new Surface Laptop delivers up to 35% faster graphics than the M5 MacBook Air and over 90% faster than the Surface Laptop 5 in some configurations. All models include Wi-Fi 7, USB4, and long battery life.
