Lian Li is expanding its Edge Platinum power supply lineup with the V2, introducing three new wattage options: 1000W, 1200W, and 1350W. The company aims to address cable management challenges in modern builds by integrating a dedicated hub directly onto the unit.

The new power supply units feature a snap-on hub for fans and USB ports alongside an LED dust indicator.
The new PSUs retain the Edge line's signature 90-degree angled power connector, which helps reduce strain on cables near the motherboard. Lian Li has also updated the cooling system with an LED dust indicator that switches from green to red when the intake fan requires cleaning.
A magnetically attached filter sits over the intake fan and can be easily removed for washing. The unit utilizes Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology, which allows for a more compact internal design compared to traditional silicon-based power supplies.

Attached to the inner edge of the PSU is a snap-on hub featuring six four-pin fan connectors and four USB 2.0 ports. This hub connects via a USB 3 header with passthrough functionality, preserving the motherboard's primary 20-pin header for other uses.
Lian Li expects the Edge Platinum V2 models to arrive in September. The company has not yet disclosed specific pricing or regional availability details for these new configurations.
