Google has introduced a new subscription tier for its AI service in Japan. The plan is called Google AI Ultra 5x and costs 14500 JPY (about $91.31) per month.
New plan offers five times Pro limits
The Ultra 5x plan offers five times the usage limits of the Pro tier. It includes access to Deep Think and Nano Banana Pro features. Subscribers also get 20 TB of storage.
Google has also renamed its existing top-tier plan to Ultra 20x and reduced its price to 32000 JPY (about $202) per month. That plan includes 30 TB of storage. The Pro plan remains at 2900 JPY (about $18.26) per month, and the Plus plan at 1200 JPY (about $7.56) per month.
The new pricing and plans are available in Japan starting May 19, 2025. Google has not confirmed availability in other regions.
