Mozilla released Firefox 152 stable with a redesigned settings page, enhanced media controls, and experimental JPEG XL support. The update aims to make browser management more convenient for users.
Tab grouping arrives on Android
Firefox 152 is available now for desktop platforms. The Android version introduces tab grouping, while iOS support is expected later this year.
A new 'Blocked Trackers' widget displays protection statistics directly in the browser. These features build on Mozilla's ongoing privacy-focused approach.
Mozilla also outlined future plans under Project Nova, a major visual and functional restructuring slated for 2026. Planned additions include custom keyboard shortcuts, PDF editing improvements, built-in Multi-Account Containers, free VPN for mobile, Quick Answers AI, Smart Window, and a power saving mode. When we covered the last firefox update, several of the same balance and stability themes came up.
