Elegoo has announced a special edition of its Centauri Carbon 2 3D printer, this time in collaboration with the emoji brand. The Centauri Carbon 2 Combo Emoji Edition swaps the standard black finish for a silver chassis with clear panels and emoji graphics. It costs $489 USD, which is $40 more than the standard model at $449.

The printer is based on the Centauri Carbon 2 platform, a 3D printer platform from Elegoo. The Emoji Edition comes with a selection of 17 emoji-branded PLA colors. Each spool includes an RFID tag that the printer can automatically detect, simplifying filament selection.
Pre-orders for the Emoji Edition are open now. The live reveal is scheduled for June 4, 2026, at 9:30 AM EDT. The standard Centauri Carbon 2 Combo remains available at its regular price.

The Emoji Edition targets users who want a more personalized printing experience. This collaboration adds a playful twist to a capable 3D printer. For $489, buyers get the hardware plus 17 emoji-themed filament spools. The standard model remains a more affordable option at $449.
