Consumer shipments fall 5.6% year-on-year
Consumer tablet shipments fell 5.6 percent year-on-year. Rising storage costs and reduced subsidies contributed to the decline. In contrast, commercial tablet shipments grew 7.4 percent, partly due to pre-stocking ahead of expected cost increases.

Huawei led the market with a 33.2 percent share. Apple held 23.7 percent, followed by Xiaomi at 10.6 percent. Honor and Lenovo captured 8.6 percent and 6.6 percent, respectively.
The data comes from IDC's market report. The research firm did not provide further details on pricing or availability.
