ASUS has released a new AMD-powered version of its Zenbook Air line that brings high-end AI processing to a thin, light chassis. This matters because buyers who need strong local AI performance for creative work or multitasking can now access it in a package that weighs just 1.19kg. The device targets professionals who prioritize portability without sacrificing the computational power needed for modern workflows.

Thin ceramic-aluminum chassis houses 2.8K OLED display and 50 TOPS NPU
The laptop features the AMD Ryzen AI 7 H 445 processor, which is built on the new Zen 5 architecture. This chip offers six cores and twelve threads with a maximum boost clock of 4.6GHz. It also includes a dedicated neural processing unit capable of delivering 50 TOPS of AI performance. The system pairs this CPU with Radeon 840M integrated graphics based on the RDNA 3.5 architecture.

Connectivity options include two USB4 ports supporting 40Gbps speeds, one USB-A port at 10Gbps, and an HDMI 2.1 output. A 3.5mm audio jack is also present for standard audio peripherals. The laptop houses a 77Wh battery to support mobile usage. It is priced at 9999 CNY (around $1,473), which is around $1,473, for the Chinese market.
