has launched the Lingyan 14 Air Qualcomm Edition, a lightweight laptop designed for the Chinese market. ASUS The device went on sale on April 22, 2025, marking a new entry in the company’s portable computing lineup.

The system is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. It comes equipped with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD for storage. The laptop features a 2.8K resolution OLED display that refreshes at 120Hz. This screen reaches a peak brightness of 1100 nits and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. A 1080P IR camera is included for video calls and security features.

The chassis measures just 13.9mm in thickness and weighs 980g. It is constructed from ceramic aluminum and available in a quartz gray color. The internal cooling solution relies on a dual-fan system. A 70WH battery provides power to the components.

Connectivity options are distributed across both sides of the device. The left side houses one HDMI 2.1 port, two USB4 ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The right side features a single USB-A port capable of 10Gbps data transfer speeds.

The Asus Lingyan 14 Air Qualcomm Edition is priced at 11999 CNY (about $1,760). It is currently available for purchase in China. This model targets users seeking a thin and light form factor with modern ARM-based performance.

The release adds to the growing segment of laptops utilizing Qualcomm’s latest silicon. Asus positions this device as a premium ultrabook option with high-end display and build quality characteristics. The availability is currently limited to the domestic Chinese market.
