The immediate impact comes from a new App Store policy that lets developers remove Intel support for apps requiring macOS 13 or higher. To exercise this option, developers must configure their build settings to target arm64 architecture exclusively. This technical requirement effectively cuts off Intel Macs from receiving future updates for those specific applications.
