Acer Swift Go Edge Laptop Unveiled: Intel Ultra 7 355 and 14-inch OLED

Acer announced the Swift Go Edge laptop on April 27. The new device features an Intel Ultra 7 355 processor and a 14-inch 2.8K 120Hz OLED display. The screen carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Acer lists the static contrast ratio at 1M:1 and the response time at 0.2ms.

The laptop includes 16GB of LPDDR5X-8533 memory and a 1TB PCIe Gen4 M.2 SSD. Acer designed the chassis to weigh 990 grams and equipped it with a 65Wh battery. The keyboard offers 1.3mm of key travel. The device also features a 5.9-inch glass cover touchpad and a physical privacy shutter for the FHD IR camera.

Acer equipped the Swift Go Edge with Killer Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. The port selection includes two Thunderbolt 4 connections, two USB-A ports rated at 5Gbps, one HDMI 2.1 FRL port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The system utilizes DTS:X Ultra algorithms for Hi-Res certified audio.

Acer priced the Swift Go Edge at 13499 CNY (about $1,970) for the Chinese market. The company made the laptop available for purchase in China starting on April 27.
