Keychron has launched the J5 Ultra 8K tri-mode mechanical keyboard in China. The company announced the product on May 14, 2024. The keyboard is now available for pre-sale on JD.com.

The device features a dual 8KHz polling rate for both wireless and wired connections. This configuration results in a specified latency of 0.125ms. Keychron equipped the keyboard with its proprietary ZMK wireless technology.

Powering the device is a built-in 8000mAh battery. The manufacturer claims a theoretical battery life of 210 days. The keyboard uses Keychron NaiFu switches and OSA PBT double-shot keycaps. It also includes a gasket structure design and 16 million color dual-zone RGB lighting.
Keychron offers the J5 Ultra 8K in Dark Night Black and Polar Day White. The keyboard is priced at 390 CNY (about $57.28). This pricing applies to the Chinese market where pre-sales have begun.
