graphics card seekers be warned. Increased prices in November are on the horizon for Radeon graphics cards. Yes, that's right.

AMD is rumored to be rolling out a new round of supply price increases for board partners. These are all part of a vicious cycle of increasing component costs that eventually affect retail price. Another one is coming to further decimate consumers who need an upgrade.

Both Radeon GPU supply kits and GDDR6 memory modules are going to be seeing price increases. AMD has yet to officially come out and give the specifics on the November price hikes. The word is coming from board channels about component supply.

So there's no real clarity as to what it means for what ends up on store shelves yet. We'll have to wait for AMD.

GDDR6 memory had an increase in price from Q3. We're looking at about 8% to 10% increase. October 1 was the day supply price for these memory kits went up.

We're currently seeing these retail prices for Radeon RX 9000 series graphics cards. These are adjusted prices. We're looking at 17% for Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB.

For the RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT, we're looking at 12% increases. These are from the Hardware Unboxed retail price survey data.

November price hike specifics are unknown. The amount of the price increase is also a mystery. We've been following Radeon GPU pretty closely.

Recall we had coverage before on AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Leads. The market is ever changing with component cost fluctuations. So keep an eye out for official news to find out real solid prices. Then you can make your decision to purchase or not.

  1. GDDR6 prices are up 8 to 10 percent and now we have to pay for it on the GPU side too. The supply chain is a joke.

  2. Does anyone know if the 17 percent jump applies to the reference models or just the custom cards from board partners like Asus and MSI? I need to know before I commit to a build.

    1. The survey data from Hardware Unboxed tracks retail prices across major partners. This suggests the entire market is adjusting to the supply kit costs, not just one brand.

  3. 17 percent is brutal for the 9060 XT. I was planning to grab one for a budget workstation but I might just stick with my old 9070 for another year.

  4. Price increases do not change performance per dollar if the cards are slower. I would rather wait for the next generation than pay more for less performance.

  5. I just want a card that lasts five years without issue. The price of memory should not dictate how long I can keep my computer running.
