GeIL has announced the industry's first DDR5 memory modules compliant with the JEDEC 8000 MT/s standard. The company unveiled the new memory at Computex 2026.

Industry-first JEDEC 8000 MT/s modules

The JEDEC 8000 MT/s modules operate at 1.10V with CL64-64-64-128 timings. They offer plug-and-play functionality without requiring manual overclocking. GeIL also introduced the AQUARIUS Diamond RGB series, which features premium aluminum heatsinks and diamond-cut RGB light bars. The series is available in Graphite Black and Glacier White.

The new memory is available globally starting June 2026.

According to GeIL, the modules are optimized for 15th generation platforms, including Z890 and B860 motherboards and Core Ultra 270K Plus, 265K, and 245K processors.
