Season 4 brings naval combat and the Top Gun crossover to Battlefield 6.

New map and naval combat arrive alongside F-14 and F-18 aircraft

The first phase launches on July 21 with the Tsuru Reef map. This location serves as the Pacific Front, bringing naval gameplay to the forefront of the experience. Players can expect large-scale water and land interactions in this new environment.

Phase 2 arrives on August 18, shifting focus to aerial combat. EA adds a Top Gun crossover featuring F-18 and F-14 aircraft. Ryan McArthur, the executive producer, said the update brings cinematic aerial combat to life using the game's scale.

This phase also introduces Carrier Strike, a new objective-based mode. The goal involves destroying enemy aircraft carriers, a shift from traditional ground-focused objectives. The update includes voiced characters like Rooster and Bob, along with matching skins.

Phase 3 begins on September 15 with additional naval events and rewards. This final stretch concludes the Season 4 content cycle. The schedule provides a clear path for players to engage with the new maps and modes over the next two months.
