Crime Boss: Rockay City has passed one million copies sold and is marking its two-year Steam anniversary with a major free update. The developer released Update 21 on all supported platforms to celebrate the milestone. This patch brings long-sought story mode content to players who previously only had access to heist-based gameplay.
Major free patch brings story mode and ModKit to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S players.
INGAME Studios created Crime Boss: Rockay City as a cooperative multiplayer game centered around planning and carrying out heists. The game launched two years ago on PC via Steam and later expanded to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. Teams of four players work together to rob different sites throughout the urban setting.
The update adds a complete story mode available on every platform where the game is sold. INGAME Studios also released the full ModKit for PC players, enabling them to build custom heists with their own assets and rules. Players can share their custom creations with the broader community via Steam Workshop support.
Crime Boss: Rockay City continues to grow its player base after reaching the one million copy milestone. This major release highlights INGAME Studios' ongoing dedication to expanding the game long after its debut.
