Zyxel Networks has expanded its outdoor networking lineup with three new ruggedized wireless access points designed for harsh environments. The launch targets service providers and enterprise sites that require reliable connectivity in extreme weather or exposed locations.
The WBE665S brings Wi-Fi 7 smart antennas to harsh conditions while the PRO and PTP models offer versatile connectivity options for MSPs.
The WBE665S operates as a Wi-Fi 7 access point featuring smart antenna technology and support for the 6 GHz frequency band. It carries an IP67 rating, which protects against dust and water immersion while handling temperatures between -40°C and 70°C.
Zyxel also introduced two Wi-Fi 6 models to complement its newer hardware. The NWA55AX PRO delivers up to AX3000 speeds with an IP55 rating for splash resistance, while the NWA55AX PTP functions as a point-to-point bridge for direct links spanning distances up to 5 km.
All three access points integrate with the Nebula cloud platform, allowing managed service providers to oversee deployments remotely. The WBE665S is already available in select markets, whereas the PRO and PTP models will arrive during the third quarter of 2026.
