Smart Profiles aim to simplify game configuration for players transitioning from console gaming. The system reads existing in-game settings and applies matching configurations to both the handheld device and its GPU. Developers designed this approach to remove complex variables like resolution, upscaling methods, and thermal limits from manual adjustment.
A developer noted that while support infrastructure is ready, not every new game currently has a community profile available for immediate use. The feature allows users to share their own configurations or apply others with a single tap. This crowdsourced model helps expand the library of optimized settings over time.
