A user on Reddit has transformed a high-end gaming PC into an animated GIF display wall. The build features nine separate screens installed inside the case to create a dynamic visual effect.

The custom rig uses a Lenovo O11 Dynamic Evo XL chassis. Nine displays of varying sizes and resolutions are mounted using 3D-printed brackets. Three Raspberry Pi 5 units handle all decoding and playback duties independently from the main system.

The host computer runs an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor paired with an MSI X870E Carbon WiFi motherboard. The graphics card is an RTX 5090, supported by 96GB of DDR5 RAM and a 4TB Samsung 910 Pro NVMe SSD.
The creator collected over 17,000 GIF files online before selecting 15,000 unique images for the final build. The entire sequence requires approximately 13.5 hours to play through completely. The user spent around 200 hours sorting and adjusting each clip for optimal display.

The project aims to serve as a long-lasting piece of computer visual art intended to last at least nine years.
