Plex Increases Lifetime Pass Price by 200% to $749.99

Plex is increasing the price of its Lifetime Plex Pass subscription by 200 percent. The new price takes effect on July 1, 2026.

Existing Lifetime Pass holders exempt from increase

The Lifetime Plex Pass will cost 749.99 USD (about $750) after the change. The current price is 249.99 USD (about $250). Existing Lifetime Plex Pass holders will not be affected by the increase.

Monthly and annual subscription prices remain unchanged. The Remote Watch Pass pricing also stays the same.

The price increase applies globally. Plex has not confirmed the reason for the change.
