NVIDIA has secured early adopters for its Vera CPU racks, including CoreWeave, Meta, Oracle, and Alibaba. The Vera CPU is part of the Vera Rubin platform, which is expected to launch in the second half of 2026.
Vera CPU specs and performance details
The Vera CPU features 88 cores and 176 threads with NVIDIA Spatial Multi-Threading. It supports 1.5 TB of system memory, which is three times that of its predecessor Grace. Memory bandwidth reaches 1.2 TB/s via SOCAMM LPDDR5X, and the NVLink-C2C coherent memory interconnect offers 1.8 TB/s.

According to NVIDIA, the Vera CPU delivers twice the data processing, compression, and CI/CD performance compared to Grace.
The Vera Rubin platform is set for a global launch in H2 2026. Alibaba's inclusion as an early adopter is notable given China's restrictions on NVIDIA's latest AI chips. However, this detail comes from a tweet citing GFHK, and neither NVIDIA nor Alibaba has officially confirmed it.
