GPU buyers in Germany are facing steeper costs than ever before. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series cards have jumped 66% in price over the last year. This surge forces gamers to budget significantly more for high-end hardware. The market shift began after late 2025 RAM price hikes and accelerated in late 2026.
German gamers face steep costs as RTX 5090 prices double amid market-wide inflation
The RTX 5090 carries the heaviest price burden among these cards. Its cost increased by 132% during the same period. This model leads the price hikes across the entire lineup. Most other RTX 50 SKUs also rose by at least 50%. Some of these mid-range cards exceeded a 70% increase.
Competitors are not immune to these inflationary pressures. AMD GPUs in the RDNA 4 and RX 9000 series saw average price increases between 46% and 48%. Intel Arc Battlemage GPUs followed a similar trend with a 38% rise. These figures show a broad market-wide cost escalation affecting all major vendors.
We have previously tracked NVIDIA RTX 50 Series Prices Surge in our earlier coverage. This current data confirms that the trend extends beyond regional anomalies. Buyers should expect these elevated price points to persist in the near term.
The German market now reflects a new baseline for GPU costs. NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel all face higher manufacturing or supply chain expenses. Consumers must adjust their purchasing plans to accommodate these increased prices.
