NVIDIA released a new GeForce Game Ready driver on May 12, 2024. The update introduces support for DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation. This technology is available in games at launch, including Forza Horizon 6.
New driver enables DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation in supported titles
GeForce RTX 50 series owners can upgrade to DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation 6x mode via the NVIDIA App. NVIDIA claims this feature provides an average 5.2x performance increase at 4K resolution with max settings and ray tracing enabled. The RTX 5090 D v2 achieves over 330 FPS in Forza Horizon 6. The RTX 5080 reaches over 230 FPS, while the RTX 5070 Ti exceeds 200 FPS.
Top-tier editions of supported games become available for early access on May 15. Standard editions launch globally on May 19. Subnautica 2 opens early access on May 14. Blades of Fire launches on Steam on May 14. Battlefield 6 Season 3 adds new maps with DLSS support.
Additional titles support the new driver features. Directive 8020 includes DLSS support. Blades of Fire adds DLSS in its 2.0 update. Resident Evil Requiem supports DLSS Multi-Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction. These updates expand the ecosystem of games utilizing the latest rendering technologies.
