NVIDIA states that Vera delivers 50% faster per-core performance under full load compared to the previous Grace CPU. The company also claims 2x improvement in data processing, compression, and CI/CD performance versus Grace.

Vera is the successor to the Grace CPU and will be used both as a standalone processor and as part of the Vera Rubin platform. NVIDIA's Ian Buck personally delivered the first units to the four partners.
