New arcade mode lets solo players team up with a local AI partner using GeForce RTX graphics cards

The beta version runs on Steam and remains available until June 30 while KRAFTON collects player feedback. The system combines two distinct approaches to handle in-game actions and conversations. A behavior tree manages rapid responses like movement and combat, while NVIDIA ACE handles decision-making and voice replies.

Players need a RTX graphics card with at least 8GB of VRAM to run the AI teammate locally. The software uses Parakeet for audio processing, Mistral-Nemo-Minitron for language tasks, and KRAFTON text-to-speech models. All models process data on the user's hardware rather than sending information to external servers.

The AI understands game terminology and can navigate map locations through voice or text commands. This setup allows players to issue orders and receive spoken responses without relying on cloud services.
