Ninkear quietly released an engineering sample of its M8_226V mini PC to a Reddit user ahead of any official announcement. The compact desktop runs on Intel's Lunar Lake processor and adds high-bandwidth connectivity options for external graphics cards.
Engineering sample reveals compact desktop with high-bandwidth eGPU ports
The device measures 128 by 128 millimeters with a footprint that fits into tight spaces while weighing about 675 grams. It uses the Core Ultra 5 226V chip which combines four Lion Cove performance cores and four Skymont efficiency cores alongside an Arc 130V integrated GPU.
The system ships with 16 GB of LPDDR5x memory running at 8533 MHz to handle data throughput. The front panel includes both OCuLink and USB4 ports that allow users to connect external GPUs without sacrificing bandwidth.
No official pricing or release date exists for this hardware yet according to the current information available. Full performance testing remains pending until reviewers receive more units for independent evaluation.
