The MacBook Neo features a 512GB SSD and supports Touch ID biometric verification. It is powered by the A18 Pro processor. Apple has increased production by 10 million units to meet high demand. The company is also ordering more A18 Pro chips from TSMC at inflated prices.
Priced at 599 USD (about $599), the MacBook Neo is seen as a strong value proposition. For that price, there are few competing machines available.
A successor model with the A19 Pro chip is expected next year, also at the same $599 price point. Apple has not confirmed the launch window for the next-generation device.
