TT Games has revealed the PC system requirements for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. The game is the first LEGO title to use Unreal Engine 5, moving away from the studio's proprietary engine.
Frame generation required at minimum settings
The minimum spec requires an Intel Core i5-10600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 16 GB RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 4 GB, AMD Radeon RX 6400 4 GB, or Intel Arc A580 8 GB. To achieve 30 FPS at 1080p on Low settings, players must enable FSR or XESS Balanced and Frame Generation. The recommended spec targets 60 FPS at 1440p on Medium settings with an Intel Core i7-12700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, 16 GB RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super 8 GB, AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT 8 GB, or Intel Arc B580 12 GB, again requiring DLSS, FSR, or XESS Quality and Frame Generation. For 4K at 60 FPS, the spec calls for an Intel Core i7-14700K or AMD Ryzen 7 9700X, 24 GB RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 12 GB or AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB, with Frame Generation enabled. All tiers require an SSD and 50 GB of storage, and the game runs on Windows 11.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is scheduled for release on May 22, 2026.
The requirement for Frame Generation even at minimum settings is notable. NVIDIA recommends a base framerate of at least 60 FPS before enabling DLSS Frame Generation, and AMD similarly recommends FSR Frame Generation on top of a stable 60 FPS base. The minimum spec implies a base framerate of 15-20 FPS before upscaling, which is well below those recommendations.
TT Games has not confirmed whether the Frame Generation requirement will remain in the final build. The game's performance on lower-end hardware remains unclear.
