Honor launched the MagicBook X14 Plus and X16 Plus laptops in China on April 30, 2026. The company positioned these devices as durable options for everyday computing tasks. Both models feature a MIL-STD-810H certification and an IPX2 water-resistant keyboard. This design choice targets users who need reliable hardware for mobile work environments.

The laptops share a common internal architecture centered on the Intel Core Ultra 5 325 processor. This chip provides eight cores and eight threads with a thermal design power up to 50W. Each system includes 16GB of RAM and a 1TB solid-state drive for storage. The hardware configuration aims to balance performance with energy efficiency for standard office applications.
Durable laptops with Intel Core Ultra 5 processors and 120Hz screens
Display options vary by model size and resolution tier. The 14-inch X14 Plus offers an FHD or 2.8K LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The larger 16-inch X16 Plus provides an FHD or 2.5K LCD panel, also at 120Hz. Both machines carry an 80Wh battery, with the X14 Plus weighing 1.29kg and the X16 Plus weighing 1.64kg.
Connectivity is handled by a comprehensive port selection on both chassis. The left side houses one HDMI 2.1 port, two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The right side includes two USB-A ports for legacy peripheral support. This layout minimizes the need for dongles while maintaining a clean exterior profile.
