GIGABYTE has launched two new gaming laptops exclusively on Amazon Japan. The GAMING A18 and GAMING A16 are now available for purchase starting May 15, 2026.
Both laptops feature AMD Ryzen 7 260 and NVIDIA RTX 50 series GPUs.
Both laptops are powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 260 CPU with 8 cores and 16 threads. The GAMING A18 features an 18-inch WQXGA display with 2560×1600 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with a GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, 16GB of memory, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The GAMING A16 has a 16-inch WUXGA display with 1920×1200 resolution, also at 165Hz. It comes with a GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, 16GB of memory, and a 512GB NVMe SSD. Both models run Windows 11 Home and include GIGABYTE's WINDFORCE cooling system with dual fans, 2 intake and 4 exhaust channels, and AI cooling.
The GAMING A18 is priced at 357800 JPY (about $2,277), while the GAMING A16 costs 279800 JPY (about $1,780). Both are available exclusively on Amazon Japan.
The laptops include a range of AI features such as the GiMATE AI agent with Press and Speak, AI Boost II, AI Power Gear II, AI Audio, AI Voice, Smart Cooling, and AI Privacy. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Gigabit LAN, Dolby Atmos, and USB PD 3.0. The GAMING A18 measures 403.9 x 293.0 x 24.9 mm and weighs 2.8 kg, while the GAMING A16 measures 358.3 x 262.5 x 22.9 mm and weighs 2.2 kg.
GIGABYTE has not announced plans for a wider release beyond Amazon Japan.
