has announced a new OC model of its GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card, the GV-N5060GAMING OCV2-8GD. CFD Co., Ltd. will begin selling this variant in Japan on May 27, 2026. The update focuses on enhanced cooling performance and a higher clock speed compared to standard models.

Enhanced cooling system delivers higher clock speeds for gaming performance

The card features GIGABYTE's WINDFORCE cooling system equipped with three Hawk Fans. These fans deliver a 12.5% increase in airflow and a 53.6% improvement in static pressure over previous designs. The cooler also incorporates Alternate Spinning technology, which rotates adjacent fans in opposite directions to reduce turbulence. A 3D Active Fan feature stops the blades during low-load periods to minimize noise. Server-grade thermal gel is applied between the heatsink and GPU die to improve heat transfer efficiency.

Specifications

  • Cooling System: WINDFORCE with 3 Hawk Fans
  • Boost Clock: 2,602MHz (Base 2,497MHz)
  • Memory: GDDR7 8GB at 28Gbps on a 128-bit bus
  • Interface: PCI Express 5.0
  • Outputs: DisplayPort 2.1b x3, HDMI 2.1b x1

Clock speeds on this OC model reach a base of 2,497MHz and a boost clock of 2,602MHz. The card utilizes an 8GB GDDR7 memory configuration running at 28Gbps across a 128-bit bus interface. It connects to the system via a PCI Express 5.0 slot. Power delivery relies on a single 8-pin connector rather than newer multi-pin standards.

Video outputs include three DisplayPort 2.1b ports and one HDMI 2.1b port. The physical dimensions measure 119mm in width, 281mm in length, and 40mm in height. The card measures 119 by 281 by 40 millimeters, fitting standard mid-tower and smaller cases. The product carries a two-year manufacturer warranty.

The GV-N5060GAMING OCV2-8GD is priced at approximately 64,500 JPY (tax included). This equates to roughly $405 USD based on current exchange rates. Availability is currently limited to the Japanese market through Amazon Japan and CFD Co., Ltd.

GIGABYTE introduced this OC model alongside other cooling configurations for the RTX 5060 series. The WINDFORCE cooling system incorporates server-grade thermal gel to balance performance and noise levels. The graphics card features an 8GB GDDR7 memory configuration running at 28Gbps on a 128-bit bus.
