Flagship gaming laptop combines AMD Zen 5 processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card for high performance in a portable form factor
The AORUS Master 16 uses the AMD Zen 5-based Ryzen 9 9950HX3D CPU. The chip provides 16 cores and 32 threads to handle demanding workloads. GIGABYTE pairs this processor with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU. This graphics card includes 24 GB of fast GDDR7 VRAM.
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950HX3D (16 cores, 32 threads)
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 (24 GB GDDR7 VRAM)
- Chassis Thickness: 19mm
- AI Quantization: NVIDIA NVFP4
- Switch Type: MUX Switch

The laptop maintains a chassis thickness of just 19mm despite its powerful internals. It also includes a MUX Switch to manage data flow between the CPU and GPU. The system leverages NVIDIA NVFP4 quantization to improve generative AI efficiency on the RTX 50 series hardware.
GIGABYTE has not yet shared pricing or availability details for the AORUS Master 16. The company also introduced two other new laptops at Computex 2026: the AERO X16 and the GAMING A16 PRO. All three models feature NVIDIA RTX 50 series GPUs.
The announcement comes as GIGABYTE pushes into the AI assistant space with its proprietary GiMATE software. This tool allows users to control CPU and GPU power limits and manage overclocking settings directly from their laptops.
GIGABYTE confirmed the specifications for the AORUS Master 16, including its AMD processor and NVIDIA RTX 5090 graphics card. The company has not released pricing or release dates yet.
