Dell has launched the 2026 Alienware Starship 16X gaming laptop in China. The new model brings Intel’s latest Core Ultra HX Plus processors and a choice of NVIDIA RTX 50-series graphics. It targets gamers who want high-refresh OLED displays and premium build quality.
Intel Ultra HX Plus processors and RTX 50-series graphics
The Starship 16X is available with either an Intel Ultra 7 270HX Plus or an Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor. All current SKUs ship with an RTX 5060 GPU, but buyers can customize to an RTX 5070. The laptop uses a dual-fan and triple-heat-pipe cooling system to handle the thermal load.

Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7 via a MediaTek MT7925 card. Port selection covers one RJ45 Ethernet, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, one USB-C, one Thunderbolt 4, one HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The laptop is available in China starting June 1, 2025.
Pricing starts at 18349 CNY (about $2,704) for the Ultra 7 model. The Ultra 9 version costs 20349 CNY (about $2,998). Some regions offer a government subsidy that drops the price to 16457.26 CNY (about $2,425) for the Ultra 7 SKU and 18447.26 CNY (about $2,718) for the Ultra 9 SKU.
The Starship 16X replaces earlier Alienware 16-inch models with updated processors and a faster OLED screen. It competes with other high-end gaming laptops that feature Intel’s new HX Plus chips and RTX 50-series GPUs. Dell positions it as a premium option for gamers and creators.
