Bluetti Balco Series Unveiled: Balcony Solar Storage with Transfer Hub

Bluetti has introduced the Balco Series, a lineup of balcony solar storage systems, at an event in Paris. The series includes the Balco 260, Balco 500, and the Balco Transfer Hub.

Modular battery systems expand up to 30 kWh

The Balco 260 and Balco 500 are modular battery systems that can be expanded up to 15 kWh and 30 kWh respectively. The Balco 260 supports up to 2,400 W of PV input via four MPPTs, while the Balco 500 handles up to 4,300 W with a high-voltage MPPT range of 70 to 470 V. Both systems can feed up to 800 W into the home grid, with combined outputs reaching 2,300 W for the Balco 260 and 3,680 W for the Balco 500. Safety features include a 5VA flame-retardant housing and a predictive battery management system.

The Balco Transfer Hub allows users to connect portable power stations to the balcony solar system, effectively turning them into additional storage. This expands the flexibility of the setup beyond dedicated batteries.

Bluetti has not confirmed availability or final pricing for the Balco Series. The company offered a 20% discount and a €500 voucher for early registrations, but general pricing and launch dates remain unannounced.
